A Community Club with a Rich History

The Victoria Point Sharks Sporting Club was founded as the Victoria Point Australian Football Club in 1966. The original clubhouse, built in 1973, was destroyed by a storm in 1984. Its replacement formed the base for the clubhouse as it now stands.

The Sharks clubhouse has transformed from its humble beginnings on the Ern Dowling Oval into a state-of-the-art, multi-million dollar modern facility. This impressive evolution reflects our commitment to providing a top-notch environment for our members and guests. Today, the clubhouse stands as a fun and relaxing venue for the whole family, featuring spacious, comfortable areas for socializing, dining, and enjoying various events. Whether you’re here to watch a game, attend a function, or simply unwind, the Sharks clubhouse offers something for everyone. With its blend of contemporary amenities and welcoming atmosphere, it’s no wonder our clubhouse has become a beloved community hub for recreation and relaxation.
