Laps for Leukaemia

48-hour Charity Walk

The Laps for Leukaemia 48-Hour Charity Walk at Victoria Point Sharks Sporting Club was a huge success, raising an incredible $16,541—well surpassing the original $5,000 target.

From 7pm on Friday, 28th March to 7pm on Sunday, 30th March, dedicated staff members walked laps of the Club’s AFL field non-stop, ensuring someone was on the track at all times throughout the 48-hour event.

The community rallied behind the cause, showing up in support and donating generously to help fund the vital work of the Leukaemia Foundation, which relies heavily on public support due to a lack of government funding.

The event not only brought people together but also made a meaningful contribution towards the Foundation’s mission to eliminate preventable blood cancer deaths by 2035.
